Things I just don’t get

Disclaimer: I like plenty of inexplicable things (like writing sarky lists on the internet) and we all have different interests. This is just a bit of fun, so please take it with a pinch of salt. 

Harry Potter

I’m not really a fantasy genre girly as it is, but I genuinely find the popularity of this little weasel baffling, especially when it comes to clothes or tattoos. 

Cars

It’s not that I don’t get wanting to have one or enjoying the freedom it brings, but beyond that it’s just a way to get from A to B and holds zero excitement. This one is probably exacerbated by the fact  I’ve been a passenger princess for over 37 years. 

Tents

I can appreciate nature and the great outdoors a whole lot better when I haven’t slept on the ground in conditions that either feel like the middle of the sun or a freezing tundra, and drunk Nescafé  from a travel stove. 

Snapchat

One of the few social media things I haven’t fell victim to. Is it still pictures that…disappear? Is it basically for dick pics?

Love Island

2019 and before was elite. Now I can’t tell any of the women apart and letting in Giant Manbaby Joey Essex this year guaranteed I only watched 0.5 of an episode this season.

Snakes and reptiles

If I wanted something venomous and poison-tongued I’d simply ask my mum what she thought of my outfit (I joke - mostly).
